Jaskier thought after being unceremoniously dumped at the top of a monster infested mountain by his muse, protector and believed friend of the past couple of decades, that that was the end of it really. It wasn’t. Not by a long shot it turns out. Now he’s smuggling non-humans to safety in the midst of a continent wide war, whilst trying to find a permanent safe home for them. Then destiny drops yet another Witcher in his lap and Jaskier’s life goes from ‘complicated mess’ to ‘consequences beyond your comprehension’ quite quickly and shows no sign of slowing down. aka this time it’s the bard’s turn to be the accidental warlord.
